For my first daughter’s dohl, I thought to myself “There’s got to be a better way” as I hot glued hundreds of beans to a paper towel roll, and my fingers to each other. Golden Lily is it! My second child’s dohl couldn’t have been more beautifully and intricately decorated. All we had to do was provide our favorite photos to frame, cake and a venue. As a millennial who goofed around in Korean class, I 1000% appreciated this service. Absolutely amazing work! Needed a decorator for my son's first birthday (dohl) and Sarah and her team at Golden Lily did not disappoint. Communication was on point! Sarah was more than willing to get on the phone/text with me to discuss about the event. She was always so quick to respond to any emails I would send as well. I was so at ease trusting her and her team for my son's big day and she was able to bring everything that I envisioned to life. All my guests were so amazed by the layout and decorations and kept asking me who did it. I was so happy to stumble upon this amazing team and it was so much easier to just show up to the event and not have to worry about decorating it. It was overwhelming to find a good decorator for our son’s first birthday. We wanted to find someone good who could incorporate Korean and Vietnamese themes with a modern twist, plus not charge us an arm and a leg. Golden Lily absolutely delivered. Sarah was always available- from the beginning when we just had an idea and through the entire planning journey as the vision came to life. Sarah was professional, responsive and understanding when it took us days to respond back or when last minute changes had to occur. She is a great listener and I felt heard as I was navigating hosting a first birthday. Sarah and her team arrived on time (early even) to set up and needed very little from us. They came hours later to clean up and did not distract the party that was still happening. We were so pleased with the result and received many compliments from our guests. I highly recommend Golden Lily for your children’s birthdays and we would absolutely use them again for our future events.

I was recommended to Golden Lily Event Decor by a friend and it was a great choice. Sarah was great to work with and there are a lot of positive attributes to working with her. She was prompt, polite, great at explaining every aspect of what she provided/what was needed from us. She worked with us from details such as themes to match colors, what items were provided to be displayed, and items for the doljabi. I have to admit even the details for the tickets/raffle for guessing the doljabi were extremely impressive. The setup/cleanup were within the agreed upon time frames and most importantly, the setup/decorations were gorgeous and drew compliments from our friends and family. Overall a great experience and great pricing. I would use Golden Lily Event Decor again in the future and have/will recommend to my friends!
